It’s episode 4 of Kagiso’s Island of Treasure is taking  and SA comedian Kagiso Lediga is clearly enjoying Jamaica. Kagiso is still trying to outdo Tropika Island of Treasure host, DJ Fresh, and his limelight on the SABC1 reality TV show.

Last week, Kagiso and Fresh’s co-host, Rosina Casserly, a former Miss Jamaica winner, spent some time at the local Jamaican craft markets and I’m not quite sure yet what he is trying to do in Jamaica just yet… He’s slightly dragged out the series and I’m starting to wonder if him going all the way to Jamaica – all in the name of upstaging DJ Fresh – was even worth it?

Episode 4, is at least much more hilarious than the previous 3 web shows! Kagiso goes with Rosina to a local dance studio to try and shake his shimmy, taking on some sexy Jamaican dance moves.

But is up to it? Can he outshine the sexy ladies on the dance floor? I could not help but laugh from the moment he walks in with the very slim-fitting, bright yellow leotard and hopelessly fails and keeping with with Rosina! Stick to comedy dude!

Anyway, check out this week’s episode… And I suggest you don’t try this one at home!

Last week we saw SA comedian Kagiso Lediga arrive in Jamaica, aiming to prove to the Tropika Island of Treasure contestants and host, 5FM’s DJ Fresh, that he could do much better in having his own show on the beautiful island… I think he is deeply sad to be missing out on the R1 million prize money action and being featured on the SABC1 reality TV show, when it starts airing in February in 2013.

Kagiso actually flew to Jamaica to track down Fresh’s co-host, Rosina Casserly, a former Miss Jamaica winner, and from what the show appears to go by, he is clearly smitten with her. But what’s his obsession with this beauty?

This week, episode 3 in the hilarious web TV series, Kagiso tags along with Rosina to the local Jamaican markets, where he gets a crash course from Rosina about the Jamaican lingo, culture and people.

He says: “If I’m gonna be hosting the Tropika Island of Treasure 5 in Jamaica, I’m gonna have to look the part. We made our way over to the Dunn’s River Craft Market so I could get the look, and I just might have learnt a little local lingo for the occasion.”

Not a good idea when Kagiso is trying his best to outshine his Tropika Island of Treasure counter parts… Let’s just say he does his best to annoy Rosina, when he actually gets the entire Jamaican lingo wrong!

A very funny moment to look out for is when he mocks Rosina when she uses the word “boutiques” – but with a sexy Jamaican accent. Is this is way of trying to melt her heart? Well, you’re doing it wrong Kagiso!  Then there’s the #deathby moment when Kagiso embarrasses himself in front of a local craft owner… Is there hope for him in outshining his Tropika mates in Jamaica?

Right now I don’t think so … and I have to say this Kagiso: Rosina is stealing your limelight from you in this web TV show! Get it together bud – Jamaica is waiting for you to come to the party!
